Lifeworksheets для создания и работы с интерактивными заданиями

  Недавно натолкнулась на очень интересный ресурс, который может стать хорошим подспорьем при организации работы удаленно. 

Lifeworksheets  позволяет превращать ваши традиционные "задания на листочках" или, так называемые "распечатки" ( pdf, jpg, png) в интерактивные онлайн упражнения  с проверкой и выставлением отметок. 

Ученики могут выполнять задания онлайн и высылать уже оцененные ответы учителю. Такой вид работы, на мой взгляд, является мотивирующим для учеников и "time-saving" для учителей, а также экологичным способом преподавания :) (экономит бумагу).

Кроме того, такие интерактивные листы в полной мере используют преимущества новых технологий, применяемых в образовании: они могут включать звуки, видео, упражнения перетаскивания, соединения с помощью стрелок, множественный выбор и даже разговорные упражнения, которые учащиеся должны выполнять с помощью микрофона.

Все созданные задания или те, задания из многотысячной коллекции, что Вам понравились, можно организовать в интерактивные книги по классам, например.

Интерактивные задания можно встраивать в свои сайты или блоги, делиться ими через любые социальные сети.

Interactive resources and platforms to communicate live

1. Test Your English – vocabulary test
First of all you want to know where you stand. Take this vocabulary test and find out your score and a description of your level in comparison with native speakers and speakers around the world.
TIP: Write down your score and do the test again in 6 months and in 1 year. If you are working on your English, there is no way that number wouldn’t increase. The more you surround yourself with natural English, the higher the number will be. All you need is – focus!

2. Bab.la – largest online dictionary and more. All words are shown in context in many example sentences which are also translated! You don’t see that anywhere else online. Pronunciation included. This is an incredibly promising website as apart from the dictionary they have other tools which are superbly handled.
TIP: Check out their Phrases section, Vocab learning section (with flashcards) or Quiz section. Can’t wait for their mobile version!

3. Fraze.it – words in context
You need to learn words in context. Not from a notebook with lists full of unrelated words but on flashcards/post-it notes with example sentences. But where do you find such example sentences? You can go to a dictionary OR you can use Fraze.it! The web application lists hundreds of sentences from NewYork Times, The Economist, CNN and other news sources to show how words and phrases are used in real language.
TIP: Use the filter on the right to choose whether your word appears at the beginning or the end of the sentence (Rule) or in which tense (Tense) and context it’s used (Context). And you can scroll down to find the word’s synonyms. 

4. Ozdic – collocations dictionary
  A collocation is a fixed expression of two or more words that go together, like “fast food” or “go to bed”. A collocations dictionary is thus very useful if you want to know which words go together, e.g. with the word “choice”. 
 TIP: This is particularly useful for bloggers and those who need to write more complicated texts in English, such as essays, business proposals or presentations. 

5. Lyrics Training – recognize words in songs
If you like music and have been learning a lot of English from songs, you’ll love this website. You find a song and your level and you play the song. You must fill in the missing words, depending on your chosen level, where 10%, 25%, 50% or 100% of the words are missing. It’s perfect for your listening skills as they don’t let you listen further until you guess the word correctly (you do have an option to click the “Give up” button though).
TIP: Work with at least 5 songs per week and watch your English improve.

Изучать неправильные глаголы оказываетс не так уж и скучно, если подойти к этому с творчеством. Мои ребята с удовольствием не только заучивают уже готовые стихотворения, но и сами составляют стихи с неправильными глаголами.

Вот несколько примеров того, с чего я в свое время начинала. Очень позитивные образцы.

Bullying – Does it concern me?

Equipment and Materials: video projector, smart board, flyers, audio and video materials

1. Icebreaker: 35 min

Vocabulary: self-respect, communication, , suffering, isolation, confidence, fear, suffering, , understanding, abuse, freedom, bullying, love, collaboration.

Students are divided into peers (in general it's 5 peers), each peer receives 3 words and should create a sentence with these words. For that sentence they should create a poster using Adobe Photoshop and materials they can find in Internet.

After everyone is ready all the posters are attached to the blackboard. All the students are asked to be ready to discuss the posters.

2. Pre-screening Questions 15 min

• What means bullying?
• What could be the reason for bullying?
• Is it a global concern?
• Does this problem concern you?
• What can prevent t from bullying?

4. Post-screening Questions 15 min

• What phenomenon is described in the video?
• What is the intended audience?
• What do you think the main idea of the message was?
• What did you feel while watching the video?
• How do you think that this phenomenon can be stopped?

5. Action 20 min

Each peer picks a number (from 1 to 5) and comments on the poster under this number. They should analyze and comment what the poster message is, if it's only one message. If not what are/is others messages.

In the end the posters made will be hanged in the school to let other students know about this issue.

English for kids - It's for our little pupils. It's in Russian and there are many songs, fairy tales, poems, games, etc.

LearnEnglish website - The authors offer a rich collection of free audio and video materials for language practice. These include various podcasts,  TV programmes, video on English history, traditions and culture and learning materials with language patterns on daily life.

Interactive English Grammar Exercises Online - A lot of grammar exercises in one place in the form of quizzes, tests-grammar exam resources.

Использование инструмента "Облако Слов" на уроке

Об инструменте "Облако Слов" знаю давно, но использовать на уроках пока не приходилось. Недавно мне пришлось готовиться к очередному открытому уроку. Признаюсь, перерыла огромное количество источников в Интернете. Хотелось показать что-то новенькое и несложное. Лично мне иногда сложно начать урок. И, будучи в процессе поиска, наткнулась на интересную статью (оттуда и название для себя взяла), в которой подробно и доступно расказывается о том, как на различных уроках можно применять данную технологию (http://didaktor.ru/maksimum-sposobov-ispolzovaniya-instrumenta-oblako-slov/).

Решила попробовать сама. Технология проста в использовании, каждтый может выбрать то, что ему по душе. Лично мне понравился сервис tagul. Мы проходим тему "Праздники". Для так называемой разминки, получившийся продукт - то, что надо.
